A United States Flags is important. It is a symbol that represents the group and their beliefs – a means of identification. It has long been reported that in May 1776, Betsy Ross sewed the first version of the flag we use today. American flags, of course, been through several design transformations since then, as a country that is added to the nation and the stars added to the design. Symbolism is abundant, unique and interesting as this design, experts think that our flag was also full of symbolism.

For experts, the red lines show the courage, blood and suffering. White stripes mean truth, purity and openness of mind. Underlined word, itself, is associated with oppression, struggles, punishments and lessons learned. The state flags represents a state of perpetual surving or coming-of-age the hard way. For experts, the stars on our flag represent goals, dreams and the future – what we all aim for, in our own way – the infinite, the stars. The color blue is usually identified with peace, tranquility and spirituality.

Hopefully, our dreams and our future will be surrounded by peace and spirituality, like the stars in the flag surrounded by blue. Our flag is very similar to our country. This is woven together by many threads, just as our nation woven together by many countries, religion, philosophy and personality.
