Sales information systems, purchasing and inventory has several problems, including: the purchase of goods that received from suppliers are not in accordance with the order letter, there is no minimum limit of the supply of goods and uncontrolled production of finished goods for purchasing. The goal is to overcome problems above and accommodate needs of new information for corporate leaders.
Research methods using analysis methodology and design methodology including observation of the running system that consists of 8 pieces of inter-related databases to provide 4 pieces of reports that intended for the leaders and interviews with manager. Results of analysis and design of new systems include the provision of 8 pieces of reports and 11 databases that integrated with 10 working processes to support decision making for the leaders.
The results of the analysis and design of the new system is expected to provide an alternative solution to existing problems, such as: facilitate the presentation of reports to management and supervise and control the activity of sales, purchases and inventories at the company.
