Good Marketing Technique
A good marketer is a marketer who always takes account of any possible changes. Who is the enemy of a hotel in the future? Maybe 3G technology! Imagine if video conferencing technology is getting better, then the company no longer needs to gather all the people in the branch in a hotel for the meeting. Simply through the video conference, they were able to relate to each other.
In the marketing plan, marketers usually do an analysis of 4 C (Consumer, Competitor, Company and Change) before making strategies. Generally, marketers analyze consumer behavior, competitor activities, capabilities, and also changes in the company. But from these 4C, Change is an area where most marketers are not capable of.
“War” experience makes marketers more easily to recognize who are our customer, how competitors are moving and how much “weapon” which is owned by the company. But sometimes change element is not something that happens invisibly in the field.
